    Service First Mortgage is currently hiring for a Sourcing Specialist.



    The Sourcing Specialist is a member of the Sales Department and is responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and screening qualified Loan Officer candidates. The successful individual will work closely with Sales Leadership to increase the company’s recruiting outreach efforts to prospective Loan Officer candidates.


    Duties include:

    • Source and recruit mortgage sales talent and develop a candidate pipeline through passive recruiting outreach efforts, to include the utilization of internet resources, social networking, job boards and cold calling.
    • Pre-screen candidates utilizing screening and interviewing techniques to be handed off to the Sales Leader once an appointment has been set, and has confirmed/reminded the recruit of the appointment.
    • Maintain and update a detailed database of candidates identified through the sourcing process and manage regular touchpoint communication.
    • Develop a knowledge base of external market and industry information that can be used as a resource to support sourcing, hiring and business decisions.


    Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred.


    • Demonstrated ability to source using personal network and online resources, with a tenacity and enthusiasm for finding outstanding talent in the market.
    • Social media savvy, advanced capability in LinkedIn and adept at search engine optimization and Boolean search logic.
    • Self-driven with the ability to work in an ambiguous environment with minimal guidance or supervision.
    • Intellectual curiosity with an affinity for investigation and research.
    • Desire and aptitude for learning new concepts quickly.
    • Intermediate to advanced capability in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
    • High level of integrity, discretion and professionalism in handling confidential and sensitive information.
    • Strong written and verbal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences, including senior leadership.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with strict time requirements.
